Salvi has an internal laboratory, as support to both the activities of engineering and testing of the products.
During the design process carried out by Technical Department, the laboratory assists the Engineer for the activities of research and development, while during the production inspection all the activities pertaining the quality control are implemented.

For all the above mentioned activities, the Laboratory is equipped to perform type of test, destructive and non-destructive, such as:

> tensile tests up to 1.000 kN;

> tightening test;

> clamp slip tests;

> hardness tests;

> tests on galvanizing;

> heating cycle tests;

> measurements of the vibration for conductors, vibration dampers and spacer dampers;

> fatigue tests;

> PMI (positive material identification) tests.
